Welcome from the Eagle Mountain Property Owners Assocation

This Association has existed on Eagle Mountain for over three decades.  During this time, the Association and the community on Eagle Mountain is fortunate to be served by many dedicated individuals both as members on the Board of Director and as members of Eagle Mountain Property Owners’ Association.  There have been many changes on the mountain.  It has grown from a community consisting primarily of lot owners with hunter’s cabins to a community of landowners, homeowners, and full-time permanent residents.  Just as the seasons bring wonderful changes to West Virginia, time has also brought evolutionary changes to the Eagle Mountain Property Owners’ Association.  In the past few years, some of the changes are the existence of this website, the strengthening of the financial stability of the Association, the continual maintenance of the roads, and the automatic gate at the entrance to our community.

There have been many contributions by individuals within the Association such as maintaining the operation of our gate, filling potholes on the roads, trimming grass along the roads, and clearing snow and ice from the roads for children to catch the school bus and so much more. You can help your Association by some simple things that benefit you also.  Keep your drainage ditches free of leaves and debris so that they flow, trim back any shrubs or trees that may interfere with roads or the drainage ditches and continue to pay your yearly dues to the Association in a timely manner.  This is one of the best investments you can make for your property.  A well-maintained lot and a well-maintained Association can maintain and increase the value of your property.

It is in this spirit that I ask each and every one of you to be involved in your Association.  You may have some ideas or suggestions you would like to recommend.  You may wish to represent the members of the Association by becoming a Board member.  You may want to volunteer your assistance on some project that may be of benefit to the Association.

If you have any concerns, ideas, or comments, I can be reached by email at ck37lc33@gmail.com.  You can also contact any Board member by selecting the Board of Director Tab on this website to get their email address.

Real Estate Information

Dear Real Estate Professionals,

Thank you for taking an interest in the Eagle Mountain sub-division.  All owners have an enormous pride in our community and the Association that represents this sub-division.  We ask that you closely review this website.  Here you will find such information as a list of the current Board of Directors and their email addresses and phone numbers, copies of our By-Laws and Covenants and Restrictions, our current annual dues, and other information that may be updated from time to time.   When you are working with potential purchasers, we ask that you consider the following.

  1. Notify your client that there is an Association at the Eagle Mountain sub-division and     direct them to our website for more information about the Association.  Do advise your clients to read the covenants and by-laws.
  2. Do not advertise properties as potential Airbnb's or any other vacation site or temporary rental. This is a private gated community for owners.
  3. Contact our Treasurer and President to get the current dues status of the lot you are showing or representing.
  4. When the lot is sold and going to closing, notify our Treasurer and President with the information of the new owner's names, address, phone number and email address.  We realize that some people may not want to give out that information; however, it is for our records and for any communication we need to send throughout the year.
  5. If past dues are owed on the lot that is closing, please have the closing attorney draft a check payable to EMPOA for the past due amount and mail to EMPOA, PO Box 525, Paw Paw, WV 25434 Attn:  EMPOA Treasurer.
